About This Tour
The Chardham Yatra is one of the most sacred and spiritually
significant pilgrimages in India, taking devotees deep into the
serene Himalayas of Uttarakhand. This divine journey covers
the four holy shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and
Badrinath—each representing a vital step in the path toward
spiritual purification and salvation.
This 9 Nights / 10 Days Chardham Yatra from Haridwar /
Rishikesh / Dehradun follows the traditional west-to-east
sequence, believed to be the most auspicious route. The yatra
begins at Yamunotri, the source of River Yamuna (purification),
moves to Gangotri, the origin of River Ganga (liberation),
ascends to Kedarnath, the Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva (faith and
surrender), and concludes at Badrinath, the sacred seat of Lord
Vishnu (salvation).
Beyond temple darshan, this pilgrimage offers breathtaking
Himalayan views, sacred river confluences, peaceful mountain
villages, and powerful spiritual moments such as early-morning
abhisheks and evening aartis. Carefully planned travel
distances, acclimatization breaks, and comfortable stays make
this yatra suitable for families, senior citizens, and first-time
pilgrims.
The Chardham Yatra from Haridwar is more than a physical
journey—it is a path of faith, patience, and surrender. Every
step through the Himalayas, every prayer offered, and every
river crossed brings a pilgrim closer to self-realization.

Temples remain closed during winter (Nov–April) due to

Why Start from Haridwar?
- Strategic Location: Haridwar serves as the nearest major spiritual and transit hub for all four dhams. The sequence of the Chardham Yatra —Yamunotri → Gangotri → Kedarnath → Badrinath —follows the natural flow of purification: Yamunotri cleanses the soul. Gangotri purifies emotions. Kedarnath removes ego through devotion to Lord Shiva. Badrinath grants salvation through Lord Vishnu’s blessings.
- Ending Note by My Instant Yatra:
- “Chardham is not just a pilgrimage —it’s a journey of the heart, soul, and faith. Every turn of the road brings you closer to divinity, peace, and purpose.”
