About This Tour
The term “Char Dham” refers to the four sacred abodes of God — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath — located in the high Himalayas of Uttarakhand.
According to Hindu mythology:
Yamunotri – Origin of River Yamuna, symbolizing purity & patience.
Gangotri – Birthplace of River Ganga, representing spiritual liberation.
Kedarnath – The abode of Lord Shiva, symbol of faith & endurance.
Badrinath – The seat of Lord Vishnu, symbolizing salvation & peace.
The Yatra traditionally starts from West to East (Yamunotri → Gangotri → Kedarnath → Badrinath).
➡️ This sequence represents the journey from purification (Yamuna) to salvation (Vishnu).

The Chardham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in India, taking devotees on a spiritually transformative journey through the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Covering the four holy shrines — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath — this yatra is believed to cleanse past karmas, purify the soul, and guide devotees toward moksha (liberation).
This 11 Nights / 12 Days Chardham Yatra from Delhi is carefully designed to maintain the traditional west-to-east sequence, allowing pilgrims to progress naturally from purification to salvation. The journey begins at Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, continues to Gangotri, the sacred origin of the Ganga, ascends to Kedarnath, the powerful Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva, and concludes at Badrinath, the divine abode of Lord Vishnu.
Beyond temple visits, this pilgrimage offers breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, sacred river confluences (Prayags), ancient villages, and deeply spiritual moments such as morning abhisheks, evening aartis, and quiet reflection amidst snow-clad peaks. With carefully planned halts, comfortable accommodations, and experienced local support, this yatra is suitable for senior citizens, families, and first-time pilgrims seeking a safe and meaningful spiritual experience.
There is no better place to begin this divine journey than Haridwar, often called the Gateway to the Gods. Starting the Chardham Yatra from Haridwar is believed to spiritually prepare the pilgrim for the demanding yet enlightening journey ahead.
Best Time for Chardham Yatra
The Chardham temples generally open between late April and early May and close around early November. The ideal travel periods include:
Summer (May to June): This is the peak pilgrimage season, offering pleasant weather and safer road conditions after winter snowfall clears.
Post-Monsoon (September to October): Clear skies, fresh mountain air, and fewer crowds make this period spiritually serene and visually stunning.
Monsoon (July to August) – Not Recommended: Heavy rainfall, landslides, and roadblocks make this season risky. Helicopter services are often suspended due to poor weather.
