Overview
The Chardham Yatra with Tungnath is a spiritually enriching pilgrimage that combines the four sacred dhams of Uttarakhand with a visit to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. This extended 10 Nights / 11 Days journey is ideal for devotees seeking deeper spiritual connection, sacred Himalayan landscapes, and a more complete Shaivite experience.
The yatra covers Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, following the traditional west-to-east sequence believed to guide the soul from purification to salvation. The addition of Tungnath Temple, one of the revered Panch Kedar, enhances the spiritual significance of the journey, as it is believed that the arms of Lord Shiva appeared here after the Mahabharata era.
Set amidst the majestic Chandrashila range, Tungnath offers not only divine blessings but also panoramic views of the Himalayas. This yatra blends faith, mythology, devotion, and natural beauty, making it suitable for pilgrims who wish to go beyond the standard Chardham route and experience a more profound spiritual transformation.
